Evaporative Cooling

Evaporative air conditioning is much cheaper to operate than an equivalent reverse cycle system. Evaporative cooling uses the fact that water will absorb a relatively large amount of heat in order to evaporate. The temperature of dry air can be dropped significantly through the phase transition of liquid water to water vapour (evaporation). This can cool air using much less energy than refrigeration. In extremely dry climates, evaporative cooling of air has the added benefit of conditioning the air with more moisture for the comfort of building occupants.

Reverse Cycle Split System

Reverse cycle split systems can cool and heat occupied space to improve the comfort of occupants. You have the flexibility of choosing which space requires heating and cooling most. Indoor units are wall hung and the outdoor units can be put on the ground or roof, depending on customer’s requirements. Systems are usually sized up by one of our technicians, which is free of charge. Split systems can be used in both domestic and commercial environments.

Ducted Reverse Cycle Split

Ducted reverse cycle split systems are virtually cooling and heating systems for your whole house or even a small office. The system consists of two parts: one outdoor unit and one indoor unit. The indoor unit is placed in the roof space and has a series of ductwork connected to the vents in the house. This option can also be zoned for different parts of the house, which can lower your energy costs.

Ducted Add-On Cooling

Ducted add on cooling can be installed at any stage. This option of air conditioning works together with a ducted heater to give you heating and cooling needs through the same ducts. In some cases, the heating unit and the duct work will have to be upgraded.
